The Story Speaks In You

Shades
Regret the glow, let windows fade
In evening haze of worthless finds,
While tempting candor, born in lines,
Ensculptures face of grown shades.

They, uninvited, cross the minds,
On windowsills, will tremble blinds,
Marked every fireplace, - to be,
To grasp and play, to envy, see.

In dreams they gaze, - apart and wide,
In honed distrust, shed warping light:
When heart of stone gives a beat,
A touch they leave, and fast to fleet

In hopeless nights for wonders' pearls, -
To let the shine in rames of worlds.
Add verdure, white, – per drop in aether,
All as prescribed by roots beneath us.
